This IFOM Symposia will provide an interdisciplinary discussion of the general mechanisms of cell transformation and metastasis. The main topics include gene diversification and genome instability, stem cells and cancer stem cells, inflammation and cancer, angiogenesis, cell motility, signalling in cancer, mechanisms of tumor suppression and new frontiers in cancer therapy.
